“What strikes me about this inn is its setting in scenic Lewes, ideal for exploring the South Downs and close to Glyndebourne. It presents a mix of rural charm and practical amenities for families and couples alike. While some may find the service occasionally unpolished and the payment system a touch old-fashioned, the individual rooms and hearty breakfasts stand out.”
